Dr. Matthew McEachran graduated with honors from the University of Detroit’s School of Dentistry in 1991.
Following graduation he did an advanced education program in general dentistry from the United States Air force with an emphasis in oral surgery and endodontics. After his tour of duty Dr. McEachran began practicing in Hillsdale. He has been in practice in Hillsdale for the past 10 years. Prior to opening his practice at 3371 W. Carleton Road he was practicing at Hillsdale Family Dental Care in Hillsdale.
He has taken many hours of continuing education in oral surgery, laser dentistry, root canal therapy, cosmetic dentistry and dental implants.
Our front office personnel Flo Pfau, Alecia Sheets and Sue Spahr will meet and greet you whether by phone or upon arrival at the office. They are available to answer any questions regarding treatment, scheduling and financing that you may have. They will be happy to help you arrange financing for your treatment and assist you with submitting insurance and problems that sometimes arise with insurance claims. They will always take that extra step to assure that each patient receives the individual attention they deserve and to make sure all needs are met prior to leaving the office.
Candi Fowle and Joy Carpenter
Candi and Joy have been with our office since it was established in July 2005.
Candi is a registered dental hygienist with an associate’s degree in applied science in dental hygiene. She attended Kellogg Community College and graduated in 2005. Candi is also certified in local anesthesia, periodontal maintenance, sealants and radiography.
Prior to joining our staff she was employed by Hillsdale Family Dental Care as a dental assistant through high school co-op and while attending Kellogg Community College. She is a graduate of Hillsdale High School and has lived in Hillsdale all her life.
Candi decided to become a dental hygienist after working in the dental field and coming into contact with so many amazing people every day. After receiving her degree she decided to stay in Hillsdale and is a great addition to our staff.
Joy is a registered dental hygienist with an associate’s degree in applied science in dental hygiene. She attended Owens Community College in Ohio and graduated in 1997. After graduation she was employed and lived in Bryan, Ohio for four years. Joy is also certified in periodontal maintenance, sealants and radiography.
Prior to joining our staff at 3371 W. Carleton Road, she was employed with Hillsdale Family Dental Care in Hillsdale. Joy has been with Dr. McEachran for a total of five years.
She is still a Buckeye/Ohio State fan at heart but welcomes all others.
Kelly Ritchey, Shelley Rappa, Amanda Spieth, and Roxy Sheets
Kelly, Shelley, Amanda or Roxy will seat you and make you feel welcome. Our assistants are all certified in radiology and will take your x-rays in preparation of the doctor’s exam. They are knowledgeable in all aspects of assisting. Whether it is taking an impression, helping the doctor, making our patients feel welcome or understanding the apprehensive patient and making them feel comfortable. They are here to assist you with any questions you might have regarding treatment.
